Arabic course in Lebanon

In August 2006 Maraya, together with the Department for Oriental Philology of the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg is organizing Arabic courses in Lebanon (in Qilhat / Fih, a village in northern Lebanon, not far from Tripoli).

The courses are addressed to students having already knowledge of Arabic (at least two or three semesters at university, depending on the course you wish to attend). They will include reading and listening comprehension, conversation, an introduction to the Lebanese dialect and analysis of all kind of media. They aim at the extension of vocabulary and grammatical skills as well as reading of texts relevant for students of Islamic Studies, Political Science and Economy.

In addition to that, there will be organized trips in order to give an understanding of the country, its culture and inhabitants.

The price of 600 includes accommodation as well as lessons and teaching material.
Participants will be picked up from the Beirut airport, but are requested to organize their journey themselves.
